On October 18th, 19th and 20th, 150 customers, 200 institutional and political visitors and almost 2,500 employees and their families came to see Aubert & Duval’s new facilities on the Les Ancizes and St Georges de Mons sites in France. It was a chance to discover the IV30 vacuum furnace and the UKAD plant, the result of the joint venture between Aubert & Duval and the Kazakh company UKTMP.
Minister for Industrial Renewal Arnaud Montebourg attended the official inauguration of the IV30, on October 19th. He took the opportunity to commend Aubert & Duval and ERAMET’s daring in investing for the future, “in new technologies and in France,” and to welcome “these world-class new plants.”
The “Investments for the Future” programme shows Aubert & Duval’s determination to develop its world-leading positions in high-tech metallurgy.
