Why this new campaign?

Anne-Marie Le Maignan: The Group has changed considerably in recent years: we have become a purely mining and metallurgical company, committed to responsible mining.

In every country where we operate, we have great projects to carry out and many challenges to meet. In order to do this, we need to both recruit new skills and mobilize the positive energy of our existing teams.

That’s why we’d like to present Eramet as we see it: as a human and committed company, where talent flourishes while contributing to a positive project for society.

What does “the new face of mining” mean?

A.-M.L.M.: We wanted to make it clear that the new face of mining is ours! That if we are “Committed to sustainable metals”, as Eramet’s new brand signature puts it, it’s because each and every one of us contributes to this corporate project.

For this purpose, over 70 employees from all professions and countries posed in their workplaces and shared how they are the new face of mining and metals. The messages are available in several versions, depending on the specific features of each of our subsidiaries.

What makes Eramet an attractive company today, for both employees and candidates?

A.-M.L.M.: Eramet has many assets! But I’d like to single out 3 that are particularly close to my heart.

First and foremost, we stand out for our strong human DNA: the quality of our interpersonal relationships and the commitment of our teams are key strengths of the Group. With the 1st axis of our CSR roadmap, “Care for people”, we aim to further strengthen this dimension. As part of this, we are committed to ensuring that, within the next 2 years, 90% of our sites will have deployed an employee well-being program. And to stay in tune with our employees and create a working environment where everyone feels good, we carry out an extensive Group-wide engagement survey every year.

Eramet is also an international company, present on 5 continents, with employees of almost 80 nationalities, and imbued with a genuine culture of diversity. We wish to continue to welcome all talents, whatever their gender, disability, age, social or cultural origin, or sexual orientation; and to continue to promote inclusion so that every employee feels accepted as he or she is.

Last but not least, we are very committed to developing a trusting social dialogue within each of our subsidiaries, but also at Group level. In fact, we are the first mining company to offer a common base of social protection worldwide for our employees, in all 15 countries where we operate! This has had a very tangible positive impact on our employees, particularly in terms of maternity and health cover.

What if the new face of mining was yours?
