André Massard, previously Comilog’s Director of Communications and Public Relations, has been appointed Comilog’s Director of Public Affairs and Eramet’s Representative in Gabon, based in Libreville. André Massard succeeds Loïse Tamalgo, who has joined Comilog’s Management Committee as Director of Sustainable Development.

Holder of a postgraduate degree in Public Law and a postgraduate degree in Public and Private Business Management from the University of Reims, André Massard has more than 25 years of experience in Communication and Public Relations, including 21 years spent at Eramet. After a first part of his career in the Legal Department, then in the Group’s Communications Department, he joined Comilog in 2006 as Communications Advisor to the General Management. In 2012, he was appointed Director of Communications. From 2018 to 2020, he was also Comilog’s CSR Director. In 2020, he was appointed Director of Communication and Public Relations. André Massard is married and has 3 children.

Together with the entire Management Committee, André Massard has been contributing for many years to the transformation of Comilog, an Eramet subsidiary, into a global player in manganese and a committed and contributing company for the Moanda region. His long experience in the Group’s mining and metallurgical activities in Gabon, his in-depth knowledge of institutional stakeholders and his open-mindedness are decisive assets to strengthen the win-win partnership between Eramet and the Gabonese State, and to promote Eramet’s economic development and CSR commitments in Gabon. We would like to thank Loïse Tamalgo for his active contribution to the Eramet Group’s representation in Gabon since 2021.
