GCO’s Board of Directors has just recently appointed Michel Privé as Chief Executive Officer and Daour Dieng as Chairman of the GCO Board.
October 22, GCO’s Board of Directors endorsed the appointment of the following persons:
Michel Privé takes the position of Chief Executive Officer, at Diogo. He has joined the Senegalese subsidiary of Eramet on the 1st of October as Chief Operating Officer.
Michel as more than 30 years of international experience in mining. He has previously held the position of Chief Technical Officer of ArcelorMittal Mining and previously Chief Executive Officer of ArcelorMittal Liberia. His mission is to drive GCO’s operation and development.
Daour Dieng will now take the responsibility of Chairman of the GCO Board and remains the Area Manager Communities, Environment and Public Affairs of GCO. He will continue to manage the Dakar office and its personnel in coordination with their functional departments.
Since July and until the appointment of Michel Privé, he was Chief Executive Officer of GCO. He now reports to Michel Privé.
